The dredging project started in July 2019 and was completed in April 2023. Improvements to the lake dam embankment and spillway structures will begin in late 2023 with expected completion by December 2025. Bachman Lake Skater

Public Art Information: Artist Jieun Kim

This mural, inspired by alebrijes and my own exploration of mythical creatures in Korean folk art, features a mother dragon and her baby skating together. The imagery symbolizes strength, tradition, and generational connection, while blending skate culture with vibrant storytelling to celebrate movement, heritage, and transformation within the Bachman Lake community.
