Driving on City Parks is Prohibited

Car in Park

Just a friendly reminder, it is against City Ordinance 32-8 to drive any type of motorized vehicle on a City park.

Just a friendly reminder, it is against City Ordinance 32-8  to drive any type of motorized vehicle on a City park.  With the recent rains, the illegal use of trucks, ATVs, UTVs, and motorized dirt bikes has become a popular activity. The areas being damaged include both environmentally sensitive areas as well as recreational spaces that are meant for all citizens of Dallas to enjoy.  As stewards of the City of Dallas parks, trails, and open spaces, Dallas Park and Recreation Department is working with the Dallas Police Department to address this issue through citations, fines and vehicle impoundment. Please help us provide you with safe and enjoyable  open spaces by keeping your vehicles off the park.
