    The Chi Omega Christmas Market offers a unique one-of-a-kind shopping experience with over 180 merchants showcasing gifts for every age including holiday decor, women’s clothing and accessories, home accents, children’s clothing and toys, food gifts, and much more! In its 40 year history, Chi Omega Christmas Market has distributed over $8.12 million dollars to the Dallas community through grants to local charities and collegiate scholarships. Funds for Chi Omega Christmas Market beneficiaries are derived solely from ticket sales, merchant booth fees, donations and underwriting. Chi Omega Christmas Market receives no monies from merchant booth sales. The 2017 market provided donations totaling $360,000 to worthy local organizations.

  3. Girls on the Run 5K

    Girls on the Run inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.

    Do you enjoy sewing and sewing in groups? Then come sew with us at Project Sew as we share the art & skill of sewing! Presented by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, Project Sew brings novices and expert seamstresses together once a month to sew in a fun and creative environment. Project Sew is free and open to the public with a City of Dallas Recreation Center Pass. Join us for the whole day or a few hours. Come and go as you please but don't forget your sewing machine, materials and your lunch. Registration and City of Dallas Annual Recreation Pass is required. Free with City of Dallas Annual Recreation Pass. Dallas Resident: $15; Non-Resident: $25; Children 6-17: $5; Seniors: $10; Non-Resident Seniors: $25; Day Passes: $5.   8. Youth Camping Trip

    November 30, 2018, 4:30 PM - December 2, 2018, 11:30 AM @ Lake Ray Roberts State Park

    Give your child the opportunity to experience the great outdoors with the Dallas Park and Recreation Outdoor Adventure Program. This 2 night camping trip will take place at Lake Ray Roberts State Park. Youth will depart from Reverchon Park Recreation Center on Friday, November 30th and return on Sunday, December 1st. This camping trip is open to boys and girls, ages 8 -12 who are City of Dallas residents or attend a school within Dallas City Limits. Parents registering their children must show proof of residency or a school report card. ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY PRE­ CAMP MEETING WITH A PARENT ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH AT 9:00 AM AT REVERCHON RECREATION CENTER. Registration must be done in person by visiting Reverchon Recreation Center located at 3505 Maple Ave, 75219.
