Recreation Centers?

Do you take credit cards/personal checks for rentals or
reservations?
The Park and Recreation Department accepts cashiers checks or cash in advance
for rentals. Please call the Athletics and Reservations office at (214)
670-8740.
Can I get married at one of your parks, or in one of your
buildings?
Yes, some buildings and park sites are available for weddings. Please call the
Athletics and Reservations office at 670-8740 for further information.
Where do go to get my boat registered?

How do I submit a mowing request?
For CBD (Central Business District) Medians needing mowing but not creating a
hazard and located in the CBD, contact the Park Department East Regional
Office, Monday through Friday, 8:15 A.M. to 5:15 P.M. at (214) 670-8281 or
(214) 670-0968 to request mowing.
The Department of Streets Services is responsible for the mowing of all medians
and triangles within the CBD. For visibility and other hazards to public
streets, contact the 24-hour City Services Dispatch at (214) 670-5111.
Park sites are mowed according to their park classification. Mowing is
scheduled on seven (7), fourteen (14), or twenty-one (21) day cycles, weather
permitting. To find out when a park is to be mowed, call the appropriate Parks
Dept. Regional Office, Monday through Friday, 8:15 A.M. to 5:15 P.M.

Do you provide tree trimming services?
The Department of Park and Recreation provides services for the trimming and
removal of dead, dying or hazardous trees especially for the site and vehicular
traffic visibility. To request the trimming or removal from a City parkway,
contact the appropriate Parks Dept. Regional Office, Monday through Friday,
8:15 A.M. to 5:15 P.M.

If the tree problem is after hours and is creating a safety hazard to nearby
streets or thouroughfares, call City Services Dispatch at 3-1-1 or (214)
670-5111 for immediate attention.
For tree problems that are not on Parks Dept. property and are causing hazards
to public streets, call City Services Dispatch at 3-1-1 or (214) 670-5111.
