Fair Park Talk
Here's the talk.
Last week's Friday Food Truck Frenzy was another successful event. Nearly 500 visitors came to Fair Park to have a delicious lunch, listen to the band Songbird Jones, stroll the Esplanade Fountain, and chat with friends and co-workers.
There were a total of eight food trucks offering a variety of scrumptious foods and desserts; everything from exotic tacos to extravagant Greek dishes to deli sandwiches to Maple Walnut ice cream, just to name a few.
The Friday Food Truck Frenzy is an outreach effort by Fair Park Administration to remind the public of the endlessly appealing features of Fair Park and to showcase the ongoing events taking place there.
Parents and children, Mom's with babies in strollers, couples, individuals, employees from nearby offices, senior adults, visitors from out of town, people on their day off all came to participate in the Friday event. Many sat at tables in front of the band enjoying the unique sound of Songbird Jones. Others sat along the Esplanade Fountain or at tables or on benches throughout Exposition Plaza.
Plans are being made for a third FFTF sometime in the next couple of months. Check our website for more information: www.dallasparks.org, or visit our Facebook page: facebook.com/fairparkdallas
And thanks to all of you who came to see us last Friday!
