Walks/Runs and Special Events

Special Event Reservations


 
A reservation with an estimated attendance of 75 participants or more is considered a Special Event and requires a special event application to be submitted at least 90 days prior to the event date. Applications submitted at least 60 days prior to the event will be accepted with a processing fee. Applications submitted less than 60 days will be denied.
 
A special event site meeting will be required for all special events that will include the event coordinator and the Reservation Office Manager.
  
Pricing varies based on the estimated attendance.
   
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department has various facilities and athletic fields that may be reserved. Reservations may be made Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm by calling 214.670.8740. Debit and credit cards are accepted.

Runs/Walks Reservations


 
Runs/walks with an estimated attendance of 75 or more will be required to fill out a special event application.

Pricing:    $200 special event fee
                $2.00 per participant
                $200 refundable deposit
