Tennis Centers

The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department provides to the public five full service tennis centers located throughout Dallas. These facilities are open daily and feature lighted courts, professional instruction, leagues, tournaments and full-service pro shops including retail sales, equipment and repair services and concessions.

NOTICE
Due to current contract changes, Samuell Grand Tennis Center and LB Houston Tennis Center will be operating limited hours. For more details, please read the documents under the "Tennis Center Contract Info" on the right side of the page.

The Tennis Center sites, operated by Tennis Professionals, provide the following:

  • Full service seven days a week​

  • Professional instruction

  • Retail sale of merchandise and supplies

  • Equipment and repair services

  • Tournaments – Courts for tournaments can be reserved any time (4 court minimum with 4 ½ hour minimum). Additional services such as balls, scoring, prizes and event management can be provided by the tennis pro.

  • Leagues - Open sign-ups are available throughout the year

  • Lessons - Group lessons are ongoing. Private lessons are.

  • Ball Machine - Ball machines are available for rental on a reservation basis. Call the pro shop to schedule a reservation.

  • Private Groups and parties are welcome. Contact the pro shop for more information.
